The Story Grid: What Good Editors Know – Goodreads Review

Non Fiction
Tone: Positive, realistic yet encouraging. Short chapters packed with information and examples.
Take Away: Shawn Coyne’s book is a lifeline for any writer in a struggle with his/her inner editor. He explains his Story Grid system for evaluating a manuscript through an intensive analysis of The Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris. Even though the sections were short, it took me longer to read than usual for a non fiction book. I paused between sections to take notes and process the information.
How I discovered this title: I was led to it by an online class called Mastering Evernote (see my post about the class here)
Have you read it? What do you think?
