How I discovered this title: As a member of Susan Mallery’s review crew, I received an Advanced Readers Copy in exchange for an honest review. Honestly, I enjoyed the story and feel confident recommending it.
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
After several rather heavy and emotional reads, I was ready for some love, romance, and happiness. Meant to be yours did not disappoint. In the first scene our hero, Jasper, rescues a starving abandoned dog. Be still my heart!
When the sparks fly between Jasper and our heroine, wedding coordinator Renee, they agree to avoid any emotional attachment. I knew that wasn’t an option in a Susan Mallery romance. No spoilers-read it yourself-but here are some of my favorite things from the story: the way the town residents always support and help each other, Jasper’s writing process, Renee’s crazy wedding themes and clients, and Renee’s surprising mother. Plus this edition contains a bonus story, A Very Merry Princess.
It’s not necessary to read the earlier happily inc titles first, but why miss out on all the fun? I recommend the series to all contemporary romance book lovers. FYI: I received a promotional copy in exchange for an honest review. (See my previous reviews: Not Quite Over You, Why Not Tonight, Second Chance Girl, and You Say it First.)
